Mid-Week Lasagna

Ingredients:

  • Easy Tomato Red Sauce OR 1 Jar of Tomato Sauce(Recipe)
  • 3 Tbsp Butter
  • 3 Tbsp Flour
  • 1 1/2 Cup Milk
  • 1 Tsp Nutmeg
  • Lasagna Pasta
  • Shredded Mozzarella
  • 1 Small Bunch Chopped Kale
  • Salt, Pepper

Instructions:

  1. Preheat oven to 230C/450.


  2. In a heavy bottomed saucepan melt the butter on medium heat. Stir flour in slowly, keep stirring until it turns golden brown. Add milk and stir until it thickens up. Take off heat and add nutmeg, salt, and pepper.


  3. Pour a thin layer of red sauce on the bottom of a 4.5 qt baking dish.


  4. Line with a layer of uncooked pasta, cover with more red sauce, bechamel, kale, and cheese. Repeat until there is no more room to add another layer. I typically get 3 or 4 layers total.


  5. Bake for 35 minutes, until the cheese starts to brown, but not burnt. Wait 10 minutes and serve!
