I don’t know about you, but my potted indoor plants don’t have the surface area to sustain an entire sheep for rotational grazing. Instead, I supplement my green children with fertilizers. Until recently, I used the generic Home Depot indoor plant fertilizer. To be fair, it worked great. But one day I ran out and didn’t want to go to the store, so I started doing some research on some DIY fertilizers and here are my favourites!

I remember when I first started getting into houseplants, and the first time I realized the cute pot I’d picked out for my succulent was about twice the price of that succulent. I was floored. Since that time I’ve started compiling a list of sources that keep my planting from being an expensive hobby and maintain it as just a medium expensive hobby.

Besides being just plain pretty, plants are extremely versatile in the bathroom. With the high humidity levels helping you keep them alive, in the last few years more and more people have been actually putting plants in their showers.
