Why Are Mangos Awesome?

If you’re craving mangos, there’s a chance you might be craving something in them that you’re not getting. They’re fairly low in calories, but incredibly high in nutrients. Here are some of the most common things in them:

  • Vitamin C

    • 67% of of your daily intake in just 1 cup

    • Aids in iron absorption, immunity, and growth/repair

  • Vitamin A

  • Vitamin B-9 aka Folate

  • Dietary Fiber

  • Antioxidants

    • Has many, but main one is Mangiferin

Mango Avocado Smoothie

Servings: 2

Ingredients:

  • 1 Avocado

  • 1 Mango

  • 1 Cup Orange Juice

  • 2 Cups Ice


Special Equipment: Blender

Instructions:

  1. Slice mango and avocado. Place everything in blender.


  2. Blend until smooth. If too thick, add 1/4 cup extra orange juice at a time until thin enough for you.


  3. Serve and enjoy!
